About Fox Valley Recovery & Behavior Health

Fox Valley Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program for Emerging Adults serves young adults ages 18-28. We strive to be a "Real Time Treatment Model" with heavy emphasis to engage the entire family system. We are Boutique in nature, not associated with any large healthcare organization and stand firm with our commitment to operate and serve in this capacity.

18-28-year-old age emerging adults, like teens, have their own unique set of needs that must be addressed to be successful. Because they are adults in age, many drug and alcohol abuse rehab programs add these emerging adults into treatment groups for adults, where these emerging adults are younger than the average age and cannot relate with the experiences of older adults.

Our outpatient substance treatment programs are specialized for emerging adults in this age group and focused on helping young adults manage the unique set of problems they are faced when enrolling in our program.

One of the many benefits of our outpatient substance and alcohol abuse treatment program for emerging adults is that they are able to learn to be sober and gain new coping skills while practicing them in their normal daily life.

Here’s how it works: participants learn new coping skills in group and individual counseling sessions, these emerging adults are then able to utilize the peer support group in the application of these newly learned recovery skills. Throughout this process our clients and their family system work with our staff to identify and address difficult or problem areas arising from daily life situations.

Our emerging adult outpatient drug and alcohol program provides 20 hours of group counseling per week, with groups focusing on issues specific to emerging adults. Here they gain the coping skills they will need to stay clean and sober.

Each emerging adult admitted to our program will work with our clinicians and staff to develop an individualized recovery plan, with specific goals to be met prior to discharge. We offer OP, Aftercare, Recovery Coaching, Family Work. Excellent resources to various levels of care locally and nationally, if needed. Summer 2019 "The Fox" Extended Care Housing and Programming.

Thanks for your Support as we strive to meet our goals in the coming months.

With Gratitude,
